Исследователи из Университета Сассекса создали прототип микрочипа, который благодаря использованию графена и его соответствующей комбинации обеспечивает значительно лучшую производительность по сравнению со стандартными чипами. По предположениям физиков, он должен предложить в 100 раз большую скорость действия.
Инновационный микрочип, созданный британскими учеными, был сделан из графена, хотя его можно заменить другими материалами с аналогичной структурой и восприимчивостью к модификациям.
Для его производства используется метод “нано-оригами”, который включает в себя «укладывания» сырья таким образом, чтобы полученная форма стала во много раз меньше, чем предполагалось изначально.
